Oliver Pengilley, the artist who created the ‘Coming Together’ painting at our recent partner church event in Lichfield diocese, explains how he produced the work.
I prayed before the event and saw many Christians coming together. So I asked The Lord to show me how to paint this in the best way I could. I painted two different colours to show the various places people might come from. I wanted to show a pool of healing power in the middle, a place people would come for healing and for empowerment. I really hope this painting blesses all who see it and that it helps in some way.

A3-sized prints of the painting are available via http://oliverpengilley.co.uk/Coming_Together.html for £10. Half of the proceeds will go to Church Action on Poverty and half to the artist.
